Training DVD

                 The state Attorney General’s Office provides training sessions for public officials, groups and organizations on open records and open meetings.

                 Through a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, administered through the National Freedom of Information Coalition, the Maryland Foundation for Open Government has worked with Assistant Attorney General Jack Schwartz to produce those training sessions on DVD.

                 The DVD is broken into chapters highlighting various aspects of Maryland open records and open meetings laws.

                 Copies of the DVD are available by contacting  the Maryland Foundation for Open Government.

                 A PowerPoint presentation on Maryland open records and open meetings is also available, and the Foundation will partner with groups or organizations wishing to sponsor a training session.
