Open Meetings Act

The Attorney General's office and the Open Meetings Compliance Board publish a manual on the Maryland Open Meetings Act. The manual was last revised in October 2004. Copies, which include case references and the text of the Open Meetings Act, can be obtained from the Attorney General's office or can be downloaded from the agency's Web site: www.oag.state.md.us. Click on "Open Government" then, "About the Maryland Open Meetings Act."

       The Web site also contains all the opinions from the Open Meetings Compliance Board.
